Health and Dental Insurance
Benefits-eligible employees are eligible for health and dental insurance benefits on the first day of the month following their employment date, during the open enrollment period in November of subsequent years and for certain qualifying events.   

Vision Care Insurance
Benefits-eligible employees are eligible for vision care insurance benefits on the first day of the month following their employment date, during the open enrollment period in November of subsequent years and for certain qualifying events. 

Paid Time Off (PTO) 
At IST all traditional leave is bundled into a single paid time off pool (PTO) providing employees with flexible paid time for important needs such as vacation, illness and medical appointments, education, volunteerism, holidays, bereavement, and other similar activities.  Newly hired full-time employees earn PTO time at the rate of six weeks per year. With five years of service, IST employees earn seven weeks of PTO each year.   

Medical and Dependent Care FSA         
Medical FSA contribution maximum: $3,000 Dependent Care FSA contribution maximum: $5,000 

401(k) Retirement Plan  
All IST employees are eligible on the first day of employment for IST discretionary contributions and on the first day of the month following enrollment for 401k contributions. IST makes a discretionary contribution to employee 401k plans, subject to meeting minimum service requirements.  Employees must meet a service requirement, and be employed on the last day of the year, in order to receive the discretionary contribution.  

Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)         
All IST employees are eligible to participate in IST’s ESOP on the either the last day of the Plan Year that includes your date of hire or the day after the day you have attained age 21.  In addition, you must have completed at least 1,000 hours of service during the 12-month period beginning on your date of hire or an anniversary thereof.   

Life Insurance and AD&D Insurance       
IST provides Life and AD&D insurance equal to 1.5 times the employee’s annual salary up to $300,000. Employees may purchase additional life insurance, not to exceed the lesser of $500,000 or 5 times annual salary. Employees are eligible for up to $100,000 of supplemental life insurance without any medical questions. 

Dependent Life Insurance         
Employees are eligible for Dependent (spouse and children) Life and AD&D coverage on the first day of the month following the date of hire.  Spousal life coverage may not exceed 50% of the amount elected for the employee.  

Short Term Disability    
Regular full-time employees are eligible for STD insurance if unable to work due to a non-occupational illness or injury.   

Long Term Disability     
Optional LTD insurance coverage of 60% of monthly salary, up to $10K/mth paid by employee.   

Tuition Reimbursement 
Annual maximum reimbursement is $8,000.  Books will be covered at 50% of cost.   

Health Club Membership Fee Subsidy   
IST will reimburse up to $100 of your annual health club membership dues.   

Professional Memberships       
Employees may be reimbursed annually for dues of one professional membership or one subscription for a relevant technical periodical.   

Invention Commercialization Income-Sharing Program    
This benefit is awarded to IST employees directly and substantively involved (“Invention Team”) in the development of IST intellectual property leading to the issuance of U.S. and/or foreign patents to IST.
